Dreams of Dreams

I dream of dreams

that I've not yet seen... 

Never knowing what to expect

of their mystical scheme.

Dreams for love

we want to feed. 

Dreams of feelings

that feel surreal.

Lusty dreams of desire,

that we love to fear.  

Dreams of loving love

for another near.

Exhausting dreams 

of fanciful control,

delving and playing

with careless dare.

Dreaming of 

more of more,

never having 

enough of enough.

Why do I dream the 

dreams of other's? 

What is my purpose

of knowing their druthers?

Perhaps I'm just a voyeur,

and lack my own insight; 

devoid of clear visions,

eclipsed by other’s light.

I have fears of my own

of not being good enough. 

My own version of never

having enough of enough.

But I've learned to 

surrender and accept

my dreams of dreams

with my lack of depth.

So, I work to dream

and to observe what is.

Can I make real these 

dreams of what can be?
