Happy New Year!

I had such a great time over Christmas and New Year's, that I forgot to wish everyone a Happy New Year! Harmony, Hannah, and Hali were all there. And a special gift, my son Jan was back from Iraq for the last time. We were all together for the Holiday's.

Jan served freedom with love and much courage. He was only hit with IEDs (improvised explosive devices) twice. It's surreal to see an aerial video of an explosion within 10 feet of someone, and seeing someone run out of the kill zone. It's quite another to find out it was your son emerging from the explosion. Other than his hearing is now bad, and his eardrum was damaged, he's alright. I'm very proud of Jan. He leaves the army on February 13. Jan's done two years in a combat zone. He's done enough. He's returned to the states and a new life. It's exciting to see Jan start a new adventure!

As a retired officer, I've seen some things too, but I know that our country's men and women are always amazing. My love and prayers go to them in Afghanistan and Iraq, and to their loving families in the states.

Dream yourself a lovely new universe that you create with your unbending intention and purpose, and be impeccable with yourself... As best you can! Take those dreams, and make them happen. Remember, anything is possible with love for Self and others. As Byron Katie says, "reality is always kinder than our thoughts."

Love you all!

TC,
Michael
