Living years in Darkness
and Lightness, I've tread
on that razor thin path
to what I’d hoped was
Clarity and Rightness.
A wise man told me that
Clarity is not always so.
He explained that Clarity
is fickle; even deceptive,
that often leads me to No.
Yes, I’ve let those ways
direct and guide me
on paths, leaving me
groping, and searching for
answers in my mind’s eye.
But no matter how much,
I still wait in silence,
patiently waiting, and
yearning for Clarity
and personal balance.
He reminds me over
and over again;
the the Best Advice
he serves to me is:
“Be silent and listen.”
Oh, yeah, and next time,
the Best Action is simply to:
Keep,
My,
Mouth,
Shut.
