In my years of Darkness
and Lightness, I've tread
oft times on the razor sharp path
to what I’d hoped was
Clarity and Rightness.
A wise man told me that
Clarity is not always so.
He explained that Clarity sometimes
can be a fickle, and deceptive way
that often leads directly to "No."
Yes, I’ve let those ways
direct and guide my
blind mind, leaving me
groping, and searching for
answers for my mind’s eye.
But no matter how much,
I still wait in silence,
patiently waiting, and
yearning for Clarity
and personal balance,
He reminds over
and over again,
the Best Advice
he serves to me is:
“Be silent and listen.”
Oh, yeah, and next time,
the Best Action is simply to:
Keep,
My,
Mouth,
Shut.
